These Terms & Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at www.ao1heals.com and all related services, communications, products, and materials provided by AO1 Heals LLC, doing business as Audience Of One (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using our website and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

General Provisions

This website is owned and operated by AO1 Heals LLC.

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that is older, to use our Services. AO1 is not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen (18).

Use of this website is at your own risk. While we take reasonable steps to maintain secure and functional systems, we make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted access or error-free performance.

These Terms may be updated at any time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the current version.

Nature of Services

AO1 provides personalized emotional support and reflective experiences, including but not limited to:

  • Personalized audio content

  • Sound-based regulation experiences

  • Digital resources

  • Email communications

  • Educational and reflective materials

  • Conversational companions

  • The Ask AO1 voice concierge

AO1 is not therapy.

AO1 does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Participation in AO1 is voluntary and for educational and informational purposes only.

No Medical or Crisis Support

AO1 does not provide emergency services, mental health treatment, crisis intervention, or medical diagnosis.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, thoughts of self-harm, or are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a licensed professional immediately.

Personal Responsibility

You understand that emotional content may bring up feelings, memories, or reactions.

You are solely responsible for your wellbeing and for any decisions made after engaging with AO1 content.

Intellectual Property

All content provided through AO1, including but not limited to audio recordings, scripts, sound design, written materials, branding, graphics, logos, and digital assets, is the property of AO1 Heals LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, or share AO1 content without prior written permission.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license for personal use only.

User Submissions and Voice Recordings

If you submit written reflections, reviews, comments, or voice recordings, you represent that:

  • You own the content or have permission to share it

  • The content does not violate any law or third-party rights

Voice recordings uploaded to AO1 may be stored and processed for the purpose of generating personalized support experiences.

You retain ownership of your recordings.

By uploading content, you grant AO1 Heals LLC a limited license to use that content solely for the purpose of delivering Services to you.

You may request deletion of your uploaded content at any time by contacting info@ao1heals.com.

Payments and Refunds

If you purchase a paid Offering:

  • You agree to provide accurate payment information

  • You authorize charges to your selected payment method

  • Prices may change for future purchases

Due to the digital nature of AO1 content, refunds are not provided unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

Cancellation terms for companion access, if applicable, will be provided directly to invited participants.

Companion Access

AO1 companions are currently offered on an invitation-only basis as part of a private preview. There is no public self-serve signup or published pricing for companion access at this time. If you are invited to participate, we will provide separate terms specific to that invitation directly.

AO1 Text Service

AO1 Heals LLC, doing business as Audience Of One, offers optional, two-way SMS conversations with an AI understanding guide for adults 18 and older. The service provides practical explanations and nonclinical personal development support. Responses are generated by AI and may contain errors. The service does not provide therapy, diagnosis, professional advice, or emergency assistance.

To request enrollment, text START to (628) 287-8380. You will receive a welcome message with service details and a request to confirm your consent. Enrollment is completed after you reply YES. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing an AO1 product or service.

Message frequency varies based on your interactions. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to cancel text messages. You will receive a confirmation of your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance or email info@ao1heals.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Availability and delivery depend on your carrier and the service providers supporting AO1.

Third-Party Platforms

AO1 uses trusted third-party service providers, which may include:

  • Squarespace

  • Flodesk

  • Google Workspace

  • Typeform

  • Airtable

  • ElevenLabs

  • Uploadcare

  • Zapier

  • Google Drive

  • Payment processors

We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, or technological failures caused by third-party platforms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AO1 Heals LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of our Services.

All Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes

  • Share account access or login credentials

  • Attempt to copy, reverse engineer, or duplicate Services

  • Harass or misuse the platform

Violation of these Terms may result in termination of access.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

You may discontinue use of AO1 at any time.

Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within that jurisdiction.
