QUESTIONS

The questions people actually ask.

No jargon. Just straight answers to the things people want to know before they begin.

  • No, and we want to be clear about that. AO1 is not therapy and it does not replace licensed mental health professionals. If you are going through something serious, please reach out to someone trained for it.

  • No. AO1 is its own thing, built for one purpose, which is to listen and help you feel steady. It uses technology to power personalized experiences, but it is not a public chatbot. Your conversations do not show up anywhere else, and they are not floating around the internet for anyone to find.

  • Your conversations are private and are not publicly shared. Think of it like talking in a room where no one is recording and no one is going to repeat what you said. What you share there stays there. That is the whole point.

  • We built AO1 so you can be honest. Your words are not used to sell you anything, and your private experiences are not treated as a product. This is not like social media, where something you say can end up somewhere you did not expect. It is more like talking to someone who genuinely listens and then lets the moment stay between you. We built it that way on purpose, because if you do not feel safe, you cannot be honest, and if you are not honest, it cannot actually help.

  • No. Your personal information and your conversations are not sold, ever. We do not treat your private experiences as a product.

  • Because no two people are the same, so why should support sound the same? Your companion is matched to you, the voice, the tone, the way it meets you, based on what you share in your assessment. It is not one-size-fits-all. You are an Audience of One.

  • More people than you would think. People moving through grief, stress, burnout, big decisions, relationships, or the moment when life shifts and you are figuring out who you are now. And also people who are doing okay and just want to stay steady. You do not have to be falling apart to use it. Sometimes you just need a place to talk things through.

  • No. AO1 is designed to support people, not replace real human connection. It points you back toward the people in your life. It does not stand in for them.

  • Most tools focus on giving you answers. AO1 focuses on helping you understand yourself and navigate what you are going through. It meets you in the in-between moments and helps you move from the end of one chapter to the beginning of the next.
